Plot twist - not everything is going to be perfect, even when you’re successful!

’m not going to lie, today is pretty spectacular! I have only had to work for 3 hours and those have been spent chatting with incredible clients and potential clients. The sun is out and I’m able to sit in my garden, sipping Kombucha while the kids are playing, knowing my business is scaling in the background.

I’m able to do this now because I have systems in place working for me, I am no longer having to trade my time for money.

However, I didn’t wait till everything was perfectly in place before I got started! If I did I would probably be spending all today working, hustling away at my business, or I’d be enjoying family time while panicking in the back of my mind knowing there was this ever mounting to do list for my business and not knowing where my next client was coming from.

I started when everything was very imperfect. I started before I had a website (mine still isn’t finished!), before I had my logos, or an email list, or a successful social media account.

Every successful entrepreneur I’ve spoke to started before everything was perfectly in place. They said yes to them, yes to learning as they grew, yes to taking inspired action, even if they weren’t sure of the outcome.

If you’re waiting till you just get that one thing done, believe me there will always be something else that needs done. You will always come up with more excuses as to why you need to wait, meanwhile you’re leaving money on the table and delaying you being able to leave your 9-5 job and play full out with your business.

Remember that “done” is better than “perfect”.
